In 1992, Norwegian People’s Aid (NPA) arrived in Cambodia with a mammoth but noble mission: to free the land of unexploded bombs and landmines (UXO). Since then, they have trained and deployed over 500 dogs to 19 countries worldwide to speed up the painstakingly slow process of landmine and UXO removal, incredibly with not a single animal harmed. A few years ago, NPA opened a Dog Training Centre in Siem Reap with canine graduates continuing their mission throughout Southeast Asia. In the show, you’ll learn about the effects of the hazards buried beneath Cambodian land, and see incredible demonstrations of obedience, agility, search and detection by the dogs.
So why not give them a visit today? You can find them right here.
