Fancy a cup of great coffee in the company of a cuddly, furry friend? This is the premise behind Ministry of Cat, the first rescue cat cafe in the city, but they are much more than that. Located a stone’s throw away from the Russian market, tucked away in a quiet street, Ministry of Cat is a relaxing, tactfully decorated space, ideal for meeting friends, catching up on work, or unwinding with a good book. Come here for a superb Spanish and Mexican-inspired menu that includes favourites like breakfast burrito, sabrosada toast and vegan pancakes. The menu is 100% vegetarian with plenty of vegan options. Ministry of Cat is a social business that homes stray cats rescued by their veterinary partner Animal Mama. All the cats at the ministry are adoptable, so come in for some cat cuddles and you might just meet your new pet. All the cats are fully vaccinated, de-wormed, microchipped and ready to go. There is no entry or adoption fee.
