The Cambodian BBQ offers a comfortable and cozy environment in which to enjoy a traditional Khmer meal. This will probably be the most sociable meal of your stay in Siem Reap and everyone is expect to lend a hand to cook. If you opt for the BBQ set menu optoin, you will be given a Phnom Pleung which translates into English as “Fire Mountain”. This is this positioned in the middle of the table so everyone can help to cook the meat and stir the soup!
This unique hands-on experience also come with exotic choices of meat to cook including crocodile and ostrich. Other options include beef, espadon, chicken, pork, squid, and shark. In total, there are 14 different kinds of meat you can enjoy with your BBQ. If meat isn’t your thing, then there is also a vegetarian option available.
The a la carte menu includes starters – banana blossom salad, fried spring rolls, mango salad and other options. There are many different types of soup served also including pumpkin cream soup, Khmer seafood sour soup, and Tom Yam soup.
There are also a range of desserts available including the fresh fruit platter, banana chef’s special, and creme brulee.
Cambodian BBQ also has a full wine list, serves a range of local and international beers as well as soft drinks, fruit shakes, tea, and coffee.
