World-renowned French artisan bakery Eric Kayser continues its delicious rise in Cambodia with a seventh Phnom Penh outlet landing on Riverside. The set up of this unique branch is a mix of Parisian bistrot and family-friendly restaurant: keep an eye out for special pastry creations surrounding events such as Valentines Day, Easter and Mother’s Day, as well as promotions during Khmer New Year. Items are made using high-quality, imported ingredients and a patented natural leavening process which has them “sleep” for 12 hours to ensure consistency in taste across 22 countries worldwide. Signature products carry the name of the street in Paris’ 5th district – rue Monge – where Eric Kayser opened his first store in 1996, such as the best-selling baguette Monge, with its lingering flavour of cooked cereals and pointed extremities, and the Monge tart, a cream cheese and shortcrust pastry topped with red berries. Every month, a new bread, sandwich and burger launches on their menu.
